Come, Thou Tortoise – A ‘wee book review
by Renée Layberry
Once I got past the flat style of punctuation, I was able to settle in to this story quite comfortably. I laughed out loud at times, and felt drawn in emotionally to the abstract observations of both Audrey/Oddly and Iris/Winnifred. There were some things that were a bit unclear to me at the end, but I believe that it was intentionally crafted in order to leave the reader exploring and thinking after the book has been closed. This was a charming, sweet read.
